Kelli McKay, PA-C

Kelli

Kelli was born and raised in southeastern Michigan and knew early on that she wanted to pursue a career in the medical field. She attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate degree where she majored in Neuroscience. During her time, she decided that she would like to pursue a career as a physician assistant. She worked for 2 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant on a cardiac unit at St. Mary Mercy Hospital where she gained the medical experience she needed to attend PA school. She was accepted into Central Michigan University’s PA program in 2015. She completed 15 months of didactic training followed by 12 months of clinical rotations. After graduating from the program in 2017 she then passed her National Certifying exam through the NCCPA.

She then moved to Denver, Colorado after accepting a position in a primary and urgent care clinic. Kelli spent 2 years gaining experience while working with adult and pediatric patients to manage and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. After living in Denver she decided that she would like to relocate to Fort Collins, and was excited to learn about the opportunity to work with Caroline, a former classmate. She provides compassionate, personalized care for all of her patients and is looking forward to specializing in rheumatology. When she is not working Kelli enjoys a number of outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, fishing, and camping which is part of what lured her to Colorado. On fall weekends she can be found supporting her Michigan Wolverines (Go Blue!). She also loves reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
